It’s time to get festive! Join me to learn some beginner weaving techniques to create a stylish willow angel. You’ll develop new weaving skills, incorporating both basketry and sculpture techniques, whilst enjoying a mindful and creative experience with others. There is also the option to create an obelisk in this session if you missed out earlier in the year.
I’ll give you all the guidance and help you need to create something you’re really proud of. Hot drinks and mince pies will be available.
Please note weaving can be more physically demanding than it looks, so a reasonable level of hand and arm strength is required. This class is aimed at beginners, so don’t worry if you’ve never tried willow weaving before!
Date: Friday 11th December
Time: 2-4:30pm
Location: St James' Barn, Biddenham, MK40 4AS. There is a large open space for parking in front of the church, it is usually quiet but if it gets filled up there is also street parking available. You can then walk down the lane adjacent to the church and you'll see St James' Barn on your left. What 3 words // reserving.cube.bribing.
